I've decided
Because Photography by Jacklyn is an outreach program. There will NEVER be a fee for services. However, if you feel so inclined, you can always make a donation to photography by Jacklyn. That money will be used for supplies, CD's...replace lights, new Backdrops, advertising, etc. There will never be a profit made from my photography. All money donated will go back into the business. That is the way God intends me to do it.
However, I will have a printing service so that you can have your images printed in high quality resolution, or on canvas, or a multitude of other options. These products will have a charge associated. It is not required, but they will be offered for those interested.
Photography by Jacklyn is a Ministry. Reaching out to God's people by providing high quality family (or individual) photography. As well as providing the photography service to customers, the door will be opened to talk about Christ, and how he loves the people, and explain that is why I do what I do.
Just recently a friend of mine from a church in Pittsburg, Texas contacted me. She is going to do a "study" for adults, young adults, and teenagers on self-image and improving their self image. She asked me to come and photograph these young ladies at the end of the course. That touched my heart. There is a beauty inherent in all of us that we do not always see....my goal is to bring this beauty out. Show people the beauty in themselves and each other, let them know how beautiful Christ thinks they are, and bring these people to know him.

Why I do what I do:
It's a beautiful thing when God speaks to you.
All along, I've been trying to refine my photography skills, all along I have wanted to be able to give quality portraits to those who can't afford them. It seemed like things were just "falling into place" for me almost too easily.
Then God spoke to me:
He told me that he wants me to do free photography for people that otherwise wouldn't have their photographs taken, and to use this service as a means of ministry. He also told me that on the occasions when I do charge for photo shoots, to put that money back into my business, for supplies that will help me to deliver a high quality product. He has no intentions for this to be a "money making business" for me. And, I believe that when i begin to see it that way instead of what it is, that's when the business will fail to thrive.
I am excited that God has placed this on my heart. I love photography. I love reaching people, making them smile, and capturing moments in time for them. This is what I plan to do.
So, Send me your contacts. Anyone you know, that would like high quality portraits for free! Images to be delivered to them on a disk, with a copyright release.
