what I learned at my workshop

I went to a lighting workshop this weekend.  I learned a lot about my camera, and a lot about post editing.  I'm excited with the way the pictures turned out, and I can't wait to try my new techniques out on some of my clients.   Here's the end result from what I learned.

Oh, and thanks to my great photographer friend.  I'm now in love with the 85mm f 1.2 lens!  I shot these pictures with it, and now it's definately on my wish list!  Thanks Casey!  You knew what you were doing when you handed me that lens!  Emery's pocketbook will thank you!

Many faces of Dakota

Nativity

I did a photo shoot the other day to simulate the Nativity.  I won't put the "great" photo on here that I am going to use for an art exhibit, but here are some of the ones that didn't make the cut.

PS:  Sorry about the "edges" on the photos, they exported as a slide, I don't know how to fix it yet, but I will work on it!

Texas State Railroad

These were shot at the Texas State Railroad.  It was a challenging shoot for me because the lighting was changing the whole time, so I had to keep changing settings on the camera.  It was a lot of fun though.  Many thanks to my great model....Alana!
