Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time where you joyfully or apprehensively get together with family.  It's a time when you reflect and realize what you are thankful for.  This year, I went to Oklahoma City and had dinner with my family.  It was nice.  It was a great opportunity for taking pictures.  I took a lot of them, so I've put them into a slideshow for you, and posted a few of my favs for those that don't want to take time to view the slideshow.

Random things around the house.

I took some pictures of some random things around the house because I really wanted to work on my editing skills.   This is the result of that adventure.

Christmas Card Outtakes

I took pictures for our Christmas Cards.  These are some of the out-takes.  as in, the pictures that didn't make the cut.  However, they are kind of cute so I thought I would share them.

what I learned at my workshop

I went to a lighting workshop this weekend.  I learned a lot about my camera, and a lot about post editing.  I'm excited with the way the pictures turned out, and I can't wait to try my new techniques out on some of my clients.   Here's the end result from what I learned.

Oh, and thanks to my great photographer friend.  I'm now in love with the 85mm f 1.2 lens!  I shot these pictures with it, and now it's definately on my wish list!  Thanks Casey!  You knew what you were doing when you handed me that lens!  Emery's pocketbook will thank you!
