self portraits

I wanted to see if I could get a good self-portrait.  These are what I came up with.  Not too bad considering I don't have a remote flash.  I have a 2 second delay on my camera.  I like the lighting though.  I used "shoot-through" umbrella lighting.  It is just out of the left of the frame.

I played with these in post-editing because I could, and because it's all in the spirit of Halloween. Scary, Creepy, and FUN!

Painted Kids....

I painted up the kids faces, and then took some pictures of them. It was a lot of fun. They enjoyed getting their faces painted, it was a rare treat, and the pictures turned out very interesting. I'm planning a similiar photo shoot tonight.

The boys built a swing for Dakota

He Finally got to swing...don't know why he's glaring...but I think it's cute.
